Browsing is anonymous. Every page on CricketIQ works without an account, and browsing uses no tracking cookies. To understand rough usage (how many people visited today, which pages help), we count page views under an anonymous identifier that is rotated every day and cannot be linked back to you or across days. We never sell or share data with anyone.
Accounts are optional. If you choose to sign in (to sync your favorite teams across devices and save coach plans), we store your email address — used only to send you sign-in links and identify your account, never for marketing and never shared. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in; it is strictly functional, not tracking. Your favorites and saved plans are private to your account. Delete account in Settings erases your account, favorites, and saved plans immediately — no grace period, no retained copy.
Feedback is opt-in. If you send feedback, we receive the message you wrote, the page you sent it from, and — only if you leave the checkbox ticked — a screenshot of the page as you saw it. Feedback is delivered to the CricketIQ team by email and used solely to improve the app.
Coach questions. Questions you ask the AI coach are processed by an AI service to generate the answer, along with the match statistics needed for context. Please don't include personal information in a coach question.
All match statistics on CricketIQ come from publicly available amateur-league scorecards and schedules. Player names appear exactly as published in those public sources. If you're a player and want something corrected, use the feedback button — we'll sort it out.
CricketIQ's numbers, projections, and coach suggestions are informational — a well-argued second opinion, not gospel. Scorecard data can contain errors upstream, and models simplify the game. Selection calls, and the consequences of bold promotions up the order, remain entirely yours.
The service is provided as-is, free of charge, with no warranty of availability or accuracy. CricketIQ is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any cricket league or governing body.
Accounts. If you create one: keep the details accurate, one account per person, and don't use it to abuse the service — we may close accounts that do. You can leave at any time with Delete account in Settings.
